It was nice to have a planned activity for the kids that had such a
positive outcome. When my child was taught how to break a board all by herself
showed her how much inner strength she possessed. Everyone was so helpful, joyful, patient and energetic. I felt it was a
experience they will never forget. It is entertainment combined with physical
fitness. Having both combined as a activity for kids is so helpful when it comes
to finding things to do with them. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

My children loved the experience of trying an activity that they had never tried before. The support and one-on-one instruction that the staff gave my children made a difference. Despite the initial hesitation to participate, the teachers made them feel comfortable which resulted in them joining the class and having a good time. My children were especially excited to break a piece of wood and learn to kick. After snack, they returned to the mats to practice what they have learned with great enthusiasm. As soon as they saw their foster mother, they ran up to her telling her of the next class being in November. The children cannot wait to go to class on the 21st of November.

I
strongly recommend this Taekwondo program for all CASA kids from pre-school age
through high school. This school and the national (ATA) program is a well run,
respectful of students, parents and their instructors go a step beyond to make
new comers feel welcomed. The daily parting message that the ATA instills in
their students is what young kids need to learn no matter their situation, and
with our CASA kids it could not be more appropriate: - Perseverance- Honor -
Integrity - Self Control.
