If you’ve ever been interested in working with abused and neglected children in Arapahoe, Douglas, Elbert or Lincoln County, there’s never been a better time to do so. Evening training begins on August 5 through August 20 at Advocates' office (see map) located at 10855 E. Bethany Drive, Suite 200 in Aurora. For potential volunteers in Elbert and Lincoln counties, remote training opportunities are also available. To request an application, call 303-695-1882.

Cowboys and Cowgirls Help Raise Over $127,000 at 8th Annual Home on the Range

This past August 12, 2007, over 1,000 little cowpokes from throughout the Denver Metro area enjoyed the eighth annual Home on the Range. Thanks to the generous support of sponsors, donors, and participating ropers, the event helped to raise $127,000 for Advocates for Children, the CASA program that serves abused and neglected children in Arapahoe, Douglas, Elbert and Lincoln counties.
