This workshop, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., intended for CASA volunteers, is also suitable for human services and other child welfare professionals. Presented by Kathleen O'Boyle, Director of Youth Services for The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center of Colorado, this workshop will provide CASAs with the information they need to better serve GLBT or questioning youth. This workshop will provide you with specific steps for encouraging open discussion about sexual orientation and gender identity. This presentation will include information about statewide services available for GLBTQ youth and contact information for agencies providing specialized support. Please join us for what is sure to be an informative evening!
